Best bullet for 600yd+ in 6XC

Hi Guys,
Starting out on load development for the 6XC, and looking for some information on bullets for longer range use on steels. I appreciate its easy to be seduced by the bc figures alone, but am interested in what real world group sizes you are achieving.

Bullet selection over here is reasonable, we can generally get :-
105gr Lapua Scenar
107gr SMK
105gr Berger VLD

What is the favoured bullet in the US for this cartridge/range combination?

Barts Bullets 105's..

For my 6XC long neck, we found an edge for the 107 Sierras. I have older & newer 115s plus some Berger's of varying trip digit wghs to try. Ill be using the lower priced one when practicing this Spring till my skill level dictates otherwise. Of course use the boutiques for matches.

Cost wise, Sierra 107, Berger 108's are easy to tune, Berger 105's are very good...... Barts, Bibs, and Vapor Trail are the best no matter what distance............ It all comes down to what you want to spend, and most importantly what your rifle likes

106 EPS... Will eliminate the need to sort bullets.

lots of different 6mms (6xc, 6slr, 6fatrat) in our camp, and we all seem to come back to 108 bergers for day in day out consistency. Want to try the cool boutique bullets....some day

If you want to stop the need for sorting bullets the Vapor Trail and EPS will deliver right out of the box. Both rather pricey but very uniform. IF you willing to sort the Berger 105 Hybrid is a shooter. THe Berger 108 VLDs are easy to tune if the rifle is giving you fits. Good luck
