Best Bore Scope?

Bill Norris

Back in the Day
Was wondering what the best bore scope for the $$$ is ? Not interested in spending a lot of $$$ for one but just trying to get a feel of what you guys are using and why you like it ?

If you are a gunsmith and charge for your work a Hawkeye is a tool you need in your box. If not all other scenarios the Teslong is more than any of us will ever need. I've bought 5 different models over the last few years just to see if there was any improvement. Quality of picture there wasn't but functionality there was.

My favorite for "all purpose" is the wireless NTG150W for $89. You can connect to IOS and Android products plus any laptop with windows. I've given 2 of the other models away to close friends not because of quality but simply as I would not use them once I had the above mentioned. The rigid models won't get you all the way through your barrels if you shoot long range competitions.

I would recommend NOT getting the version that comes with screen unless you don't have a smart phone, tablet, laptop. They are more expensive and the NTG150W has a decent range and will not drop your signal

Really depends what your budget is. If it’s like mine, probably the teslong HD solid borescope. If your funds are more toward the unlimited side of things, then Hawkeye all the way.

I have a Teslong, but for most people, including myself, the best bore scope is the one that you don't use.
More problems created than solved by their use, by most.

the teslong will be plenty good, get the flex cable it will chk the entire lenght of the barrel without having to walk around, but if you have internet in your gun storage area you may want the rigid. I like mine very much you will be happy with it
