What are the best bore brushes on the market? Would you recommend bronze or nylon?
I know this is old but after iosso or and other abrasive like, just clean the barrel with alcohol a few times.Mike, The problem seems to be that if any Iosso type cleaner is left in the bore, didn't get it all out) and you shoot the next round down the barrel, my guess is the paste that's left in there and the next bullet down will scratch the barrel some what or some how. I don't know the exact conditions that it has to be for it to happen.
We just saw another barrel a short time ago and it looked like it had all of these weird swirl polish type marks in it. The only thing that is consistent is that it seems when someone cleans with it and then shoots a round down the barrel the barrels seem to possibly start fouling with out warning. Again I don't know what the exact conditions have to be but when this seems to be happening the common denominator seems to be the Iosso.

P.S. Gary I will check out the link!
