Best bang for the buck barrel?

I have a 6mm build in mind off a factory action and don't intend for this to be a competitive gun at the range. I would like it to shoot well though and would like your opinions on which barrel has the most accuracy to cost ratio?

I have several mcgowens and they shoot as good or better than the cbi barrels and I also have one of theirs that is showing promise.

My gunsmith just told me yesterday that Benchmark's are currently "measuring out" extremely well. Very minute variations.

I've never had a bad McGowen. For just a little more money than a Shilen, they are a very good value.

Jim Brigss @ NSS..... $340 later and this barrel cleans so well and has shot since first round through it. Took 4 break in rounds and cleaning and has not fouled since. I have gone as far as 125 rounds with no fouling.

Mine is a 308 win for FTR 1000 yard. But if it was for non formal competition in say a 6BR or Dasher, I bet it would shoot right there with a custom $700+ barrel for my needs

We can have you a 6mm barrel made in about 3 weeks. Our barrels have been doing very well in both the hunting and competition fields. Let me know if I can help you out.

no signs of copper build up was what I was saying. of course it will have some powder fouling in there

And was saying for $340 total I think it is a good quality barrel for my needs vs a $750++ barrel total

Green Mountain barrel not bad for 100$
