What is the best annealer for 6BR cases?

I have a ballistics edge and ut works fine without spinning the case.They have a model that does.

I have a bench source. Don't have a bad thing to say about it. Expensive, but worth it! Makes annealing a piece of cake.

I bought a Bench Source this winter and really like it. It is simple to set up and easy to change to a different case size. I could not be happier.

Bench Source, no doub't! From what I can tell the Ballistic Edge doesn't have "Stop Station". The Bench Source indexes each case to a turn table, when the main wheel stops, there is a smaller wheel where the is fest that rotates the case for a set time, the set time is set by the operator and can be adjusted for different cases, Lapua 6BR cases don't take as long as the 300WSM Norma, the great thing is you can set the timer to keep the case under the flame as long or short as needed. Yuo could probably see the bench source in peration on Youtube? I sold a Ken Light machine, I like the Bench Source much better, there really is no comparison!

The Bench Source does look like it is handy.

What ever one you get just be sure to keep records of all the settings. Makes it so much easier to switch calibers. It is handy where you do not need to burn the hell out of a few casings.

No love for the Giraud? It's the only annealer that's load 'n go. Stack the brass in the "resevoir" and let it do it's thing. No one-at-a-time brass loading. Pretty much the same price as all the others. While the brass is "cooking", stay nearby, but get some other loading done.

It's so good that my WTB ads for another Giraud annealer goes unanswered......gonna order new next week.

The ballistics edge model 400 is a rotating disc type annealer.The cases constantly spin all the way around.

I have a Ballistic Edge 400 and it works very well for the 6 br case. The thick base plate definitely does a good job as a heat sink in helping keep the case head cooler. The color change from annealing stops right at the top of the base plate. It takes about 5 seconds to drop after the flame and I can pick the case back up by the case head with bear fingers and hold it.

They all will do a great job, just pick one and use it!
