Best 270 brass?

From your guy's experience, what 270 winchester brass is the most consistent. Yeah i know it's not a target round, but i treat all my reloads the same.

Thanks
Matt

I treat all my loads the same too. When I can get 300 to 500 rounds once fired of all the same headstamp for $.05 per case I used to buy them. My big batch of 300 plus Federal cases were fired in the same rifle. Picking out 100 really good cases was easy. The imperfect and or heavy cases are used for working up loads. The best cases are used for the serious shooting. The remainder are kept for spares or they can be sold to someone less picky.

I've always used winchester, but the reviews on midway say the new lots are terrible. Any thoughts on Hornady brass?

I bought Hornady and so far like it very well. I was surprised how relatively consistent the neck walls are, slightly more than .001" variance around most necks, some less than .001". Not worth neck turning for hunting purposes, and what else is the 270 used for anyway? My Remchester and Federal cases all have closer to .002" variance.

If anyone has tried RWS, please give an opinion, just wanting to try it.
I don't have any experience with the RWS 270 , but have used the 280 to form 280 AI brass and also use the 8x68S for form a 338 wildcat. It is excellent brass and tough as pine knots!
