Besides the NF 3.5x15 NXS, Tell Me About Other Good Scopes In That Power Range

I been very impressed with Athlon midas series. I have used the midas hmr 3-15 and i liked it. Glass in my midas btr gen 2 is on par with my zeiss v4 and tick behind the sightron s3 but the sightron is 56mm vs 50mm. Its much better than the trijicon ten mile i had.
My brother just got a 4-12 swarovski z3 and its got excellent glass as well. 929$ from eurooptic.

Athlon has a 2.5-15 in their ares line. HD glass. 100 moa elevation. Parallax adjustable down to 10 yds. You can get moa or mil. I don't have an ares but have a Cronus and a couple midas tacs that I really like.

that's a "FFP" scope isn't it?

max power can't go above 15X
If you're referring to an AR Tactical match, then yes, strictly according to the rules 15X is the maximum allowed. However, it is my understanding that scopes of higher magnification may sometimes be allowed at the match director's discretion, as long as they are taped off at 15X during the match. If you already have a 16X, 20X, or similar scope you could use set at 15X, it might be worth asking the match director if taping it off at 15X would be allowed. Often times, they can be very accomodating in order to maximize participation. If this is your situation, it might also be a good opportunity to see what 15X scopes others are using firsthand before dropping the money on a new scope for yourself.
