Berger elite hunter

Hey guys , I got a new 30 nosler, I built to shoot the bigger bullets. I want to shoot the 205 elite hunter. Is anyone reloading for the elite hunters in general? Or, is anyone reloading for the 205? I am more concerned on where to run them off the lands. Or at least a good starting spot. What y’all got? Thanks

I went thru a Berger Phase in life !
Really liked the 175gr OTM until I shot game with it !
Destroyed to much meat went back to the Nosler Accubond. I enjoyed the accuracy of the 175gr OTM.

For hunting, I load to mag length. I've run the 215's in the 30 Nosler, bang flop including a 500# black bear

20 thou off the lands is where I normally start my load development.

I too always start 0.020" jump to the lands. For hunting if using magazine sometimes mag length is too short to be that close to the lands so I leave it at mag length minus 0.040"... even if it's jumping 0.100" or more it doesn't matter that much for me if it's for hunting big game.

I am running a Wyatt box, so hopefully I can get the maximum length necessary. To to all of you that answered. 20 off is also my starting spot usually.

I use the 180gr elites in my wsm and jump them incredibly far lol like .140 or something i think. Mag length deal. Shoot single holes at 100 yrds.

Idk if its similar or not but the 208 hybrid long range likes 36-42 off in my barrel. 210 vld likes 30 off and also mag length jump of .127 lol with two different charge weights tho. Low node and high.
