can some body on this forum send thanks to WALT BERGER and his staff from me in the u.k.just got a load of bergers from a gun shop in the uk a fresh shipment of the little beuties.i got some for my 17 rem and 17 fb and for a 20 cal i have my mate bought a load for his 22/250 and a 22br hes having built.

HEAVEN IS A BERGER BULLET.

Those bullets really are gorgeous. Amazingly uniform and the best metplat I've ever seen on a production grade bullet.

Is Walt still active within the company? Seems like I read that he sold out a few years ago.

I talked to him at the Berger Bullet Booth at the SHOT Show in Las Vegas on February 2, 2008. So I guess you could say that he is still active with the company. And he still shoots BR matches too.

You can contact Eric Stecker General Manager of Berger Bullets via their web site and let him know how you feel.I'm doing part of of test with some of their,not released yet) 185gr BTs in my 30-284 and they just plain shoot,very tolerable of seating depth,and velocity,best group so far is .9 at 400yds

They cut the group size of my 22-250 in half down to about 3/8".

Eric Stecker and Berger are thinking outside the box. They are not afraid to try things that others don't care to try. They are also free with their wisdom. They are doing things to try to get more people into the competitive shooting arena. Berger Bullets and Eric Stecker are helping the IBS Benchrest School meet its goal of teaching new people the fine art of benchrest shooting. Eric is my hero.

What impressed me most of all about Berger Bullets was Eric coming online here and discussing his bullets. He has gone over their good points and has addressed problems with the bullets right here in front of this audience of accuracy minded shooters. That's impressive. So was getting an e-mail from Walt Berger when I had a question about the bullets.

Of course the accuracy I've seen from them has been pretty darned impressive too!

After talking with other satisfied Berger users, and watching their excellent video, I've decided to try Bergers for hunting this year too.
