Berger bullets question...

I have a stupid question but i figure its even dumber not to ask and know...

your got orange box hunting bullets
you got yellow box target bullets
and you got white box otms


what is the otm suppose to be designed for? A both target and hunting? Educate me!

The Tactical bullet line is purposefully designed by Bryan Litz to work best in the rifles that are being used in real world tactical law enforcement situations and in combat by the war fighter. Each bullet is meant for a given cartridge but they can work in other cartridges as well. Their nose lengths allow COAL that will feed through a magazine and shoot well in standard issue chambers. This line is also made using materials that ensure the bullets are rugged enough to take real world abuse and get the job done.

As far as Hunting and Target VLDs exterior dimensions are supposed to be the same. The difference is in the jacket thickness. Target being thicker.

The sad reality is that over the last couple of years the best bullets are the ones you could actually get 8)

One exception is the 30 cal 185gr match Juggernaut and the 185gr Juggernaut Tactical OTM, they are the same bullet in different packaging
