Seems odd, the focus of hunting bullets. Seems like a 500 box of bullets would last a horrible hunter a lifetime, and someone who was good but hunted a lot a lifetime as well.

Problem is I have 50 clients all using the same bullet who will bring me the years worth of empties and expect me to have them loaded the week before the hunts start.
Way back my wife had a uncle that lived in Colorado and hunted elk. One box of factory ammo was all he ever purchased during all those years.

Even with carpet in the room where I make bullets, the 'floor bounces' go into the 'Foulers' box.

Unfortunately, the longer these shortages (105 Hybrids anyone...) go on, the more folks look for alternatives, find them, and then decide that the alternative is good enough (or maybe even better).
Not a good long-term strategy on Berger's part in my opinion, but hey, what do I know.

This and their profits are more than likely higher. It’s a profit making business to them and hand loaders and especially “precision hand loader” are a small percentage of the shooting market compared to all the other ammo that gets fired. Just one man’s opinion
