Berger bullet question

I'm new to the 6mm. Norma BR cartridge. I have started to gather components.
I have looked everywhere for Berger 6mm (.243") 105 gr. VLD-TRG bullets and it seems every one is sold out..
Is this normal? , does Berger only produce this bullet once a year and when there sold out wait for another production run?.. Does this mean when there back in stock I need to shell out the cash for a box of 1000..?
Please fill me in so I,know what to do..thanks

I don't know about the 105's, but I had to wait a very long time for my 88's to get rolling out again. They showed up when the berger rep said they would. It is worth the wait for me. The 88's are big medicine where coyotes are concerned.

YES & YES

bobcat93,
For whatever this is worth, Brunos has the 6mm Berger 105gr Hybrid targets in stock. I frankly have no idea what the difference is between the regular 105's and the Hybrid 105's as I use Barts.

bobcat93,
Next projected manufacture date for our 6mm 105 VLD bullets in the 100 or 500 count is March 2016. We are working on a production schedule that will alleviate these shortages in the future barring any unforeseen circumstances ( read panics). Many shooters have had very good luck with the 6mm 105 HYBRID target bullets also as has been previously stated. You may want to try those also. With the 6mm 105 VLD START ON THE LANDS AND WORK BACK IN .001 INCREMENTS. For the 6mm 105 Hybrid. Start at .015 off the lands and work from there. In either case, please do all your seating depth testing at the lowest powder charge listed for the bullet/powder/cartridge combination you are testing. If you have any questions please contact us here or at techsupport@begerbullets.com.

The hybrid 105 bullet is a very good bullet if your barrel has enough twist to shoot it. It is smart to buy bullets in the 500 box it depends on how you are going to shoot (rounds per month/yr). Some lots require different tuning for 600 and longer ranges.

Good stuff gentlemen, answered all my questions. I will buy bulk when these bullet become available again..
I would like to thank the Berger tec. for chiming in on this ..I know it might seem like a goofy question to alot of people. I just like to know how different manufacturers produce the products I want to use. That way I can keep my reloading components readily available at home...
I know another bullet manufacturer with a green label. They make the only bullet that shoots great in one of my rifles. I also know they are only manufactured once a year and when I see them I purchase enough to hold me over till the next production run..works for me..
Thanks again

Purchase the real deal:) Barts or BIB'S;)
I have used Bart's for my wife's 6PPC. They were good bullets and Bart's is a class place to deal with. That being said, why would you feel it necessary to interject the above statement into this thread? It has nothing to do with the questions that Bobcat93 posed. For the record, Berger also makes good bullets and it was very kind of their representative to post and actually answer what the OP was asking for.

Notice - That is the one and only 6mm target bullet Bruno has in stock.

Hogpatrol...unfortunately I'm sure your 100% correct about this..and I have been..if she gets in the Obama components drought will be a joke compaired to Clintons I'm sure..

If you can't find Berger, try Sierra MK. They're my backup and they shoot real good.
