Has anyone tried Berger 88gr in 6mmbr?

Hoosier-My 8 twist Lilja barrel loves the 88 Berger with 31.5 gr. of Varget for 2949 fps. I've shot some of my best groups with that load. You should definitely give them a try.

The 6mm 88 gr. FB bullet is an excellent bullet . It usually shoots best with the bullet seated to firmly engage the lands or 'jammed' .This is because of it's VLD type ogive. However this bullet can be quite accurate even in barrels that have longer freebore or that are magazine fed and the bullet just cannot be seated to engage the lands. Eric Stecker has printed a tech article explaining how you can find your 'sweet spot' in regards to seated depth with VLD type bullets in hunting type rifles and the circumstances I mentioned above .
