One thing I've pondered for a while is why the 105g hunting VLD isn't more popular. It's BC is at least the equal of the hybrid, availability is usually good and the design matches the original target VLD. It also requires less twist than the hybrid. They've also proven relatively easy to tune. Give them a try, you might be surprised.

My only reservation would be if you're using a ultra high velocity 6mm chambering and/or a very fast twist barrel. I've yet to have a failure with an 8 twist 6br or 243.

I shot a 600 yard match today with 105 Hybrids (lot # 8815) in my Dasher. They performed above my expectations in some nasty wind. I shot a 191/4x out of 200 with a Bartlein barrel with more than 2000 rounds. These are good bullets. James Mock

I look everyday, found some 109 Hybrid’s on PV (not my first choice), then got an oops email, sorry sold out.

I shoot 108’s, but I’ve got to look elsewhere, ordered some 103 Claymore’s from Bison Bullets and some 105 Gungnir’s from Bart’s. If these shoot, Berger’s will be in my rear view mirror from now on…

They won’t show up tomorrow, but at least I’m in the loop for something to go bang with.

again.....

6MM BERGER 108gr ELITE HUNTER bullet should be at dealers very soon! Now it all depends on where your DEALER(S) are in our stack of invoices. And WHERE YOU ARE ON THEIR BACK ORDER or NOTIFY LISTS.
FYI- As of JULY 1 /2021 we have made more bullets than all of 2020 . And we are adding more machines and people to make even more.
