Anyone have experience with the .277 cal Berger 140gr. Classic Hunter bullets in the .270 Winchester. This is their highest BC projectile for the 1-10" twist.

And , yes it does have a higher BC than the .270 140gr VLD. That's not a typo. If you have the Berger Manual. The same load data for the 270 WIN using the 140 VLD will work with the 140 Classic Hunter. In most cases with this bullet your load development will just consist of seating the bullet to the published magazine length (COAL) of the cartridge you are loading. Then work the powder charge up slowly to find your velocity accuracy node. If you need load data or have any questions please contact us any time!
