Anyone shooting 6mm/30cal has it made. Anyone shooting 6.5 looking for good bullets, it at the mercy of Berger.
They haven't produced hardly anything in .264 except Hunting. Furthermore, any custom bullet maker trying to get J4's, simply can't get them.
Not sure I will chamber in 6.5 again...what a hassle! JMO.....

I have another thread going on this "Berger Drought". Berger doesn't have a production date in their schedule for 6.5. Really frustrating.

I use to shoot a lot of Berger 140 6.5s and I still use some for a couple rifles but I switched to other makers For most of my rifles. Bergers are good Bullets but they aren’t the only bullet if your shooting them in the field. If it’s competition that’s something I know little about, doesn’t sound good though.

Don't want the bergers, they aren't much better than Sierra...what amazes me is the j4 jackets....they can't produce those either.

I don’t think Berger is doing anything malicious. They are trying to survive in a market that has limited resources and increasing demand. All the while they are uncompromising in their quality. I commend them for that, I would hate to see Berger make compromises in their quality just so they can meet their spike in demand for the short term.

In the last 2 to 3 months I ordered several thousand Lapua Scenar 6.5mm with no issues. I decided to make the trade-off of shooting a bullet with lower BC but is available on the shelf. Scenar are good Bullets.

With all the ammo makers now using premium bullets, is it any wonder there is a shortage. They can't keep up with the demand for loaded ammo how do you expect them to keep up with just bullets/primers/powder ? Federal, Berger and others all use Bergers bullets in their loaded ammo now as with Sierra making loaded ammo.

Ummm, when was the last time you saw any 6mm 105 hybrids for sale? "Anyone shooting 6mm/30cal has it made" :):):)

Berger is controlled by Nammo, a globally environmental sustainable, socially conscious business. Following international initiatives? That could be a productivity issue(for civilian products).
Capstone surely isn't marketed to anyone but the civilian market, do you think? Does military need this high-end stuff? If I could get components on demand I would pay double....all mfg states they can't get help, or supply chain costs have increased. CHARGE MORE THEN!
