Berger 156gr 6.5 PRC

I do not have a 6.5 PRC or direct experience, but I ran them through Quickload. They all look workable. II could not find Magpro in the powder listing so I did not run that one. RL33 looked like the best fit from a burn perspective and it yielded slightly higher top end velocities. RL26 and H1000 looked good too and those would be by second choices. N565 looked a little fast and if it were me I would try that as a last resort.

Probably not exactly what you were looking for but hopefully it is of some help.

Berger 156gr 6.5 PRC any suggested loads ? I have Re#33 ,Viht 565,H1000 ,Re#26.Magpro
If you don't get what you're looking for here head on over the Long Range Only dot Com, I think I've see your screen name there before, because there are quite a few 6.5 PRC shooters over there slinging the 156's and I think N565 H1000 and RL26 are the powder/s of choice.

Yep a buddy has one. He's using RL26 in his. We shot side by side his against my 6.5-284 with 140s. I was using H4831sc. No comparison. I was at 3000 and he was at 3120. When he ran H4831, he was quite a bit slower also. I'll run some RL26 in it this year and see how I like it. Also RL23. Both seem like good choices.

Yes that's me. Yesterday I shot loads from 54grs to 58.2 of N565 .56.2 produced 1/4 MOA at average velocity of 3,010 . Bergara premier ridgeback is a shooter

My 6.5-284 is built on a LA Rem 700 and not only is it throated long but Shawn w/Defensive Edge did his +P to mine as well. With my 8tw Shilen finished at 26in I'm running the 140 Berger's well over 3200 w/RL26. I just got some 156's in and may give them a go but it's shooting so well with these 140's I'll be honest it's going to be hard for me to even try them.

Great news. No way 4831 comes even close. I'm gonna try it soon. I've heard it's a game changer. 3200 is a game changer. You'll get 3100 with 156s. I take it the +P is simply long throating it ?

I kind of thought so but wasn't sure. Yeah there are quite a few guys shooting the 6.5 PRC over on LRO and they all seem to be getting great results with N565, H1000, and RL26. I'm a really big fan of RL26 and use more of that powder than probably all other powders I use, combined. I'm very thank full I have quite a bit of it on hand.
