Bergara rifle light primer strikes

Anyone else same problem.. New Bergara HMRPro Premier, 6.5 creedmoor. Intermittent light primer strikes, Hoenady 140ELDX, and others.. click, mark, no boom. Took bolt apart and cleaned , saw no problem.
Called Bergara. "oh Yeh, some have problems. No offer to fix. "Maybe you need a stronger spring."
?Likely to be headspace?, Spring? what?
DON'T BUY A BERGARA IF YOU WANT A FUNCTIONAL NEW RIFLE.

Be sure your not bumping your shoulders to much, it will cause the exact same problem. Also, a worn cam on some primer tools will let you feel like the primer is seated properly but it is not, It's the priming tool bottoming out on its self. Ask me how I know about these issues.

I have seen a YouTube video and have also read that with the earlier Bergara rifles patterned on the Remington 700 action were Bergara have their own design for the bolt shroud. It’s a casting and the internal threads can ware out, in a rather short time of usage.

Call Bergara warranty. If the problem is with the bolt shroud, they should send an updated version as a replacement.

A burr in the firing* pin channel. The spring catches on it. My guess.

Had a High Standard pistol & Mossberg bolt* 22 did* it Intermittent.

The HS would fire every time, if shot upside down.

So you called Bergara and they said that what, misfires are normal for this rifle?

This is exactly what happened. Bolt shroud. Many post on S.H. about it.

The HMRPro Premier and the B14HMR are not the same.

I have a Pro Premier chambered in 223 and have had four light strike out of the last 75 rounds, just thought it was old primers. Not wanting to bash Bergara but when I got the rifle the barrel was loose. Go figure?
