Bergara B14R at the range today

I had the B14R at the range today. No wind at all ( very rare at our range ). It took a few shots to get dialed in at 220yds. This is 6 consecutive shots. 3 shots on a 3" sq. steel then 3 on the 2". I was using Eley Club. With a Vortex Strike Eagle. I had swinger made for our steel knockdown targets, that we will shoot at my long range 22 LR match at RRRC in Roanoke VA. We will shoot the 3" at 220yds and 285 yds. 2" at 150yds and 200yds.

Club is pretty good for the $.I bought a couple cases of "Contact " and it's darn good for practice ammo and at times surprised me.

What are the hangers you using

They are Shooting Traget7 the black one is a superhanger it takes regular gongs. the other is a superlock hanger, it takes the their superlock gongs. I welded their 1" gong to the back of my square steel.

A friend of mine got some Eley Force. It shoots ok at 50 yds. but shoots great long range.

I have a case I hadn't tried yet.ill have to give it a go at 200.

I shot Contact out of 4 rifles today. Mostly at 50 yards and did some clay bird busting at 200 yards.at 50 yds my Martini International was bugholeing mostly,the cz 457 sport hated it and the Winchester 52 was about .40" My Anschutz 64 Sporter with set trigger and 4X Weaver shot a lucky 1" group at 100 yards with it!

One day I'll get a b14 trainer.My shooting partner had one shortly before he died.we would shoot clays at 200 yards against each other and I shot it a few times.hell of a gun!

Mine is steel. I did not want to pay extra for the gun to be lighter. I wanted the weight.

That's exactly my thought on a target rifle! It never made any sense to me to make the darn thing lighter..
