Bergara .22 Question

Does anybody shoot the Bergara .22's. What's are they like?
Would you recommend them?

I do not own one nor did I sleep in a Holiday Inn Express, however a Buddy has the B14R and its a good shooter, well set up stock, bolt is smooth and good trigger. I've fired it to 300 yds chasing a clay bird and able to hold over to walk it onto the clay target.
I like them. May be more info on Rimfire Central but I'd expect pros/cons to come up here in your topic.

I shoot a Bergara B14R. It has the carbon fiber wrapped barrel. Doing it over, I'd go for the all steel barrel. I think it might shoot a little better, but the big thing is balance shooting off-hand. The gun is plenty accurate at 100 meters with Eley Match. For me, if shooting from a bench, the gun is hold-sensitive. It requires a bit of downward thumb pressure on the stock and needs to be pulled into my shoulder. It doesn't shoot well in free recoil. An all steel barrel might help with that. The trigger left me nonplussed. Adjusted all the way down, it was still too heavy. There are mods that can help, or so I hear. I just replaced it with a Triggertech; problem solved. All in all, they're good guns at a good price. Recommended!

Krogen makes a really good point, triggers are they 700 pattern? is that right? Lots of choices then as he mentioned.

I sold my carbon fiber barrel to a guy on this forum, when my Tikka T1X outshot it it was game over that was with Lapua super long range.

I am a novice rimfire target shooter (non-competition), but I really like my Tikka T1X. Into my second years shooting it but yet to ring out its full potential with some ammo better than CCI SV.

I bought a Begara BMR Carbon this summer, I like it a lot.

It's shot some 3" or so groups at 200 yards, I'm a fan.
