62gr eld vt in 22-250 load data

I have a Bergara 22-250 with a 9 twist and would like to load up some hornady 62gr eld vt. Is anybody loading this bullet in their 250? What powders are you using?

Hi There - I want to try these as well. Did you have good results, and what loads did you end up with?

Hopefully your rifle has a short throat, as this bullet likes to be into the rifling a little bit. At least in my experience.

Not sure it will help you, but in my 8 twist Tikka, I'm using CFE223. Not a max load, but running around 3300 fps with good accuracy. It's worked good on coyotes.

Not quite the same cartridge, but in my 22Creed, I'm using N150.
39.5gr gets me 3700fps and if I remember correctly, a .070" jump.

You may try some StayBall 6.5, it worked fine in one of my 22-250s with the 65 grain Sierra
