I kick myself in the nuts with how much money I spent on my guns and suppliesCan you afford both? What one do you spend more money on.

I had a 69 gTx that I bought new. Just sold it 2 years ago. No # matching for me. KB TF crank, Areas pistons Eagle rods, 6 pack etc. I retired at 79 years old. I miss my X sometimes.I kick myself in the nuts with how much money I spent on my guns and supplies
When I realized I could have bought a '69 Mach1 or a '68 Firebird
(More as an investment)
Thats when I began saying to myself
"You have enough guns, you have enough guns"
Guns / Muscle cars, it's a tough choice ya know? Both are money pits
that you never hardly get out of it what you put into it.
It's tough to decide which one I get more enjoyment from
A car that would likely hardly ever get driven for fear of a wreck from an idiot driver
Or guns which you can take out and enjoy whenever as often as you want.
Guns and Ammo have won over the years more than Cool Cars
--------------------------------------------------------------
Now I'm focusing more on retirement, and tell myself
You can spend all you want on your guns when you retire
It's a self discipline thing
Once I have one, I can't stop, and need another, and another.
Especially when you come across a deal you just can't pass up
I think' I've done well though only buying 2 more guns in the past 5 years
Boat (definition) A hole in the water surrounded by wood , aluminum, or fiberglass, in which one pours or dumps his or hers money!!!Can you afford both? What one do you spend more money on.

A boating friend of mine says “A boat is a hole in the water that you throw money into…”It depends on the Boat.
A 16 foot aluminum buddy boat with a small hand tiller outboard, shuck as this, it’s not much more than a first class Benchrest Rifle with high end optics.

But………a guy that live down the street from me just bought a new Bay Boat, two 300 HP Yamaha 4-stroke outboards. That’s $60,000 worth of motors right there. He also bought a one ton fifth wheel to haul it on the 6 wheel trailer. I figure he has $180,000 in the whole package.
Of course, the minute YOU crank it up, it depreciates 30%.
I am sure everybody knows the saying…..”the second happiest day of your life is when you take your new boat out for the first time, and the happiest day is the day you sell it”.
