Just one week away shooters... I don't know about the rest of you but I'm ready to do some shooting. We also have a NRA midrange on Apr 18 that I can't wait to shoot. John Perkins and Phil Kolkman will be driving down from Indiana to join us on the line. Weather is looking good so far for next week!

Jerod, I have complete faith that the weather people have no idea what they are talking about. Lol 69 deg with 20% chance isn't too bad.

Yep, April 2nd is a Thursday. We all play hookie from our jobs for the morning and go back to the grind after the match and lunch. It's kinda fun to break out of the normal routine for a morning of shooting. See you on the line if you can get away.

The first Benchrest Rifle Club F-Class match of the year will be held on April 2nd.

This match is open to members and non-members alike. 30 shots for record at 600 yards with unlimited sighters the first relay and 2 sighters for the second relay.

Match begins at 8am, and lunch will be provided after the match.

$20.00 fee includes match and lunch. Can't beat that!

Medals awarded to the first place shooters in three different shooting categories

-F-Open
-F-TR
-F-Open Bench

The remaining F-Class matches are below, I have also included our NRA High Power 600 Yard Mid Range matches that we can shoot in. They are identified with an asterisk (*).

If this match does get cancelled, will there be any notification? Would hate to drive an hour plus just to find out its cancelled.

Hope the rain stays away but it doesn't look promising.

Jerod, I'm ready to shoot too, if it is a go then please don't push it to get there. I will sign you up and have a spot saved for you on a relay. The first match of the year is always a cluster getting started on time anyway. Lol

I think we might have a chance to shoot a match today. Bring your boots and rain gear just in case. We will start as close to 8:30 as possible to try and get as much shooting done as possible. See everyone in a few hours.

Well, you had to be there for this one but here it goes. 8am- the radar looks bad, 830- it starts up,(rain) so we wait for a let up and run for the pit, Lol. I'm on pit duty so this ain't funny but time to get wet. The only wet target so far is mine on top of the stack (what's the odds of that?) It stops raining and we setup in record speed so we can out of there before the next spell of rain. Lol. Dry run (phew) and as soon as we get back to the line, here it comes pouring down.10am -The next guys on pit duty are just plain fearless and go straight to the pit like it wasn't raining. It flat poured during the whole relay and somehow they were able to score targets through that is a mystery to us back on the line. 11am - The next pit crew are shaking but ready to take it like men after what the last guys just went through. We give them all the rain gear we got and they are waiting... Then came a call from the pit... We Will Stay Here , Go Ahead and Shoot the next relay. The rain subsided and we actually finished on time or close to it. The FTR relay were the heros of the day and we applauded them after the match.

The 11 shooters above did a double shift in the pits, HATS OFF to them, it rained like crazy!!!!!! Neil G---I did see Mike J pay a dollar to Brett !!!!
