Benchrest rest made by Cliff Arnold

I've gotta post a big :yesnod: to Cliff for this rest, fast build time and all around a great experience to deal with.
A thank you to whom ever it was that told me about him.
I can't wait to show it off to my friends.

SS bolts/parts

It is not Brass inserts it is Bearing Bronze thread inserts at high wear points.
Replaceable brass tracking plate.
Knobs aren't drilled all the way through.
Level installed in front bar
Handle to aid in handling.
Most of all the personal/professional customer service.

Dont think so.
Only seen one rest maker with that exact shape and design. Many have ones with the same concept but not the same shape,spring loaded delrin top and front bar.

I own a Pappas and it is a fine piece of equipment. And I will never let it go.
My point is I have never ever seen a rest that was EXACTLY like one of James rest.

I have had the luxury of shooting off one of cliffs rest a couple times. He lives less than 2 hours from me. Great guy, took my son with me to my last ARA shoot i went to. My son was going to shoot my about 1 moa savage, well cliff wasnt having that. Set my son up with one of his personal rifles (2500X, nightforce 15-55) one of his rest, and the ammo the rifle likes (eley match). Long story short he wouldnt take a dime for ammo and my son beat me even with his 3 zeros from shooting the same spot.

Cliff is a great guy and i have one of his rest coming in his spare time, slow order.
