Benchrest or FTR near San Diego?

Hello,
I've temporarily moved back to San Diego.
When here previously, I was either working, underway, or shooting pistol.
Since that time I've switched over to benchrest and FTR.
The folks & facilities in Ojai are great, but thats a bit far for training & tuning.
Anyone shooting in/around San Diego?
Any outdoor options other than South Bay Rod & Gun Club?

Other than the South Bay Rod & Gun Club matches your gona have to do some driving.
Imperial Valley Rifle and Pistol in Seeley shots mid-range from Oct.-May.
Burbank Rifle and pistol north of Castaic has a monthly mid-range match limited to 20 shooters.
Ojai has mid-range bi-monthly.
Santa Margarita Gun Club at Pendelton has mid and long range matches but is currently in a state of flux and not operating.
Cuyama has monthly long-range matches and is starting mid- range.
Coalinga has regular mid and long range matches also but is a hike.

Hopefully the SMGC will get going again, that's the best bet for San Diego highpower.

Sorry I can't speak to benchrest.

There’s a smattering if Benchrest (or was) in the LA area. As for F class and practice, South Bay is about it. They do have a Palma (reduced) match regularly.

Luke, SBRGC has a reduced Palma match (300 yd) FO, FTR, Match rifle, Service rifle, 3rd Sat every month, be there before 0700. Lots of helpful guys, no pressure, fun match. Usually done by 1200/1230. pm me if you're interested.

Some of the guys who shoot bench rest in Ojai also shoot at the Pala range, easy to find on internet. Midrange bench this month July 15 at OVGC, NBRSA rules.
