Benchrest gun case

[J&J Custom Rifles]

I recently bought a 6 br benchrest rifle and would like to get a decent hard case to carry it in. Ive even seen some that just sit right up in the case and dont lay down but dont have a clue who makes them. Or you fellas may can help me out with something better. Thanks

Plus 1 on the Plano AirGlide. I bought one 2yrs ago and love it. Ky has such poor mid-range and long range programs, I also travel to Ohio and Tenn. to compete. The case rides in the back of my truck and my gun has returned home time after time unharmed. It's proven to be a good durable case.

These are the only way to go.... they can make anything you want. and they also have scratch and dent sales. call them and ask about it. They make all the "bullet proof" cases for Cabelas.
They have other cases not shown on their website. For example.... the case i got from them was 60" long and 14" wide. when it was delivered, it even had the wheels on it at no extra charge. I think i only paid $150 for it....

How long are your rifles?? and how much room do you have lengthwise in there? I think they only make this case in a 50" length. All my rifles are over 50"
Do you know if they make anything longer?

What was said above on Airglide. I added a plywood base to give it more stability....worked great.

50" is about the max. (I just measured it). My 6BR is 46" long and of course my point blank rig is much shorter.

thanks fellas on all your responses, i think the airglide will fit my needs perfect. my gun is 47" long so should work out great. thanks

If you have a Dick's Sporting Goods store near you they usually stock them and for less that $40. not a bad deal. I have even seen guys cut a hole in the end for longer barrells and mount a pvc protective flange for protection....just looks goofy.
