Benchmark in 6BR

Anyone use this with lighter bullets in the 68 Gr. range . Should be a hair slower than 133 with out the temp sensitivity. ???

I use it with the 65 Gr. V-Max in my 6BR and it shoots great. Tight groups and good velocity...I'm using about one full grain more than I used when I loaded H-322...George

Go to the Hodgdon reloading site. They have some recommendations for Benchmark with the bullet weights you are asking about......

My 13.5 twist 6BR didn't do well with Benchmark. H322 was better. However N133 was much better, and N135 was the very best. I use Sierra 70 grain Matchking and 68 grain Bart bullets. Would have to give it a try to find out in your barrel.

It should be very good with light bullets. It meters very well and is quite temperature stable. I use 35gr of benchmark in the 6 dasher with 55gr noslers.
