Bench-Source Annealing Machine

Anyone use a Bench-Source machine to anneal your brass??
How do you like it,have you used other models??
Thanks
Bench

I have a Bench Source and really like it. It is easy to setup and adjusts well to different length brass. I have not used any other brand so cannot compare. It is very well built and if you have any question they are very helpful.

One of the best reloading investments I've made. Quick and easy step to quality reloads. I run many wildcats and prolonging the life of formed cases is important. Sorry, nothing else to compare it to and can't imagine wanting to.

I have sent them an E-Mail to find out the price which I could not find anywhere.
But most important is if it will do the wssm cases without the heat traveling down the body of the case to far and annealing the the case body.
Anymore info would be a big help.

Thanks

No it won't, as long as you adjust your timing & torch head set up is appropriate.

$519.00 I know is a good price on the machine.

Is there an alternative for the budget minded person?

DennisH, Find several fellow reloaders local through your club/range and split the cost. It is pretty in destructable and only takes a couple of minutes to setup and use. The gas lasts a long time however if you are like me it will either be empty or will go empty when I use it. ;D Another option would be to find someone that has one and will let you rent it or charge a small fee to use it.

I bought a ballistics edge and couldnt be happier with it.It was 340.00 and delivery was quick.

Trying to decide between the Bench Source and the new Giraud. Has anyone tried both? The Giraud is significantly less $$ and if it is the same quality as their other products it should be good

A number of years ago a purchased a cheap pot metal knock off of a quality annealer available at the time. It required caliber specific plates that needless to say are no longer available. I purchased one of the early runs of the Bench Source (black anodized) and have been very happy with it. Its timer is spot on, torch set up easy enough, powerfull cooling fan, one shell plate for most if not all calibers except 50 BMG and fast enough for my needs.

I'm sitting on about 400 cases that need annealing right now and am not looking forward to doing them one at a time by hand. This machine might be in my future before match season starts soon.
