Bench Mounting for Spotter

Just traded a buddy for his Leupold mk4 spotter, my first spotting scope, and need suggestions on bench mounting. I tried using a tripod next to the bench but having to shift all the way left off the bench, I’m a right handed shooter, isn’t ideal. I’ve done some searching and about all I came up with was the Sinclair mount and the Creedmoor sports units, both of which are $150+.
Are there any other options that will work for a bench with an 10” thick tabletop? Honestly with having a kid and buying a house already this year, money is bullfrog’s ass tight so any budget options would be appreciated. Thank guys.

Looking forward to what you think of it. Been looking at it for awhile and plan to get one next month as my bench is on the thicker side too.

Sinclair's works for me and it adjust well fits any normal bench top and I made a 7/8" round about 4" high and tapped it to fit my Bogen tripod so I can use the scope two places ....... jim

Look at the size of the Steel tube on the Sinclair 7/8 " and the rigidly of the aluminum one in the pic. That little scope on it isn't very heavy, you get a 80 - 88 mm. scope on it with a small aluminum rod the wind will move it around..... jim

I have had a press mounted on the edge of my bench for over 20 years with no problems. Make sure you put large diameter backing washers underneath the bench when you bolt it on.

You sure aren't trying to look down range through a press.... there is no comparison. Keeping it tight on the bench is no big deal.... jim

Steel tubing is a little better for the vertical post and it is less flexible. the reason the Sinclair is so expensive it has a head that for adjustment that isn't needed. I bored out a a clamping die ring and it pans on it.... jim
