Bell & Carlson tactical stock

Hello all,could anyone give me some feedback on the B&C varmint/tactical stocks? I am looking at building another 6.5 swede in a remington 700LA,and wonder if using that stock is an option.I would prefer the hoo-ha Manners but am a little hesitant about the price,I know you get what you pay for,all i'm looking for is some comparative info)I am not interested in HS.Thanks for any help.Jim

I have the B&C A-5 fully adjustable type on a tacticle rifle and love the fit and verticle grip. Bedding is optional due to the full length aluminum block but I suggest a skim bedding to tighten everything up.
In my opinion, fit and finnish is excellent, price vs a manners or a McMillan makes it a no-brainer

I agree with scout1. I have one and find it to be a very well made solid heavy comfortable stock.

One of them showed up at our range. Since then 3 more, everyone seems very happy with theirs. A nice stock.

Just bought my third Bell & Carlson Medalist Tactical stock, 2 Savage and 1 Rem. 700 now. All are excellent. $206 + shipping from 'Shooters Discount'. All were drop-in with only very minor 'touchup'. Found the underside of the bolt contacting the cut-out slightly and after removing just a bit of material, no contact. Heavy barrels 'float' the thickness of 4, one dollar bills tip of the forend to the receiver. Am very impressed with their quality, price,'no wait' delivery, and 'Made in the USA'.
