Begara B14R Trigger Question

I just bought a Jard Ultra and can't seem to
get it below 12 oz pull. It is supposed to go down to 3oz
but it will not. Jard has not responded to multiple requests
for help.

I hate to resell this dog to some unsuspecting buyer.
I am thinking of buying the Tigger Tech Diamond one stage
trigger.

Any thoughts?

Thank you

Yes...put a Jewell in it. I installed a Jewell BR trigger in my Bergara B14R rimfire. Easy install and works great! Jewells come on this site for sale at times. I've built a reserve of (5) of them, and glad I did that!

I’ve had a Jewel, Bix N Andy and the TT Diamond.

If Jewel was still in business and didn’t just bail on a flock of loyal customers I’d have kept using it. They pissed me off enough and they don’t have a flat shoe for the trigger that I don’t want to use it.

The Bix N Andy Tac Sport Pro was and is fantastic. They are prone to having issues though in very dirty or dusty conditions. Found out the hard way. Still have it in one B14r and it works 99% of the time.

The TT Diamond is pretty bullet proof, gets light and breaks great, but it doesn’t have the feel of the other two. Having said that my primary trigger right now is a single stage Diamond with a flat shoe.

They all will break at 8oz or less.

Interesting that you talk about the other triggers having issues...but so do the Jewells. I use to send them back and they wouldn't even charge for going through them. I agree the way they closed up just wasn't right in my opinion.

As far as the other triggers it reminds me of the old Alaska saying "Maule Rockets, Helio Couriers, and Citabria 7GCBC's were "almost as good as Super Cubs" in the bush. I stayed with the Super Cubs (had four of them).

Yep, I’ve only had one jewel ever fail me and it was a blown primer from a load that I shouldn’t have used in the first place.

The Bix is a great trigger but they’re picky on how clean they need to be.

TT is good but they don’t break like the other too but they are pretty bullet proof.

I’d run the Jewel if I could find a flat shoe for it.
