These females needed a bed, so I gave them my truck bed the other night both before 9pm.
Both right about 180 yards & both within 30 min of each other 1 mile apart when they stopped a hair ouside my scent cone as the breeze was angling off my right rear to left shoulder.
I had 3 fly in on the second set, 1 spun on a dime outta there & its partner slammed to a stand still & nicely broadside to me wondering why her honey was going the other way. Grass was a tad taller than her, but I had her head very nicely exposed above it...thwwaapp down she goes.
The 3rd stayed in down wind for another 15 min but never committed closer than 400 yards.
The other was a spot & stalk sort of when I saw it in the thermal around a pretty decimated cow, caught my scent as I was trying to get higher above it for a clean shot. She started to walk away in no hurry, but knew there was just something not right in that spot...yea me. She stopped kinda quartering from me so bullet went left shouler & exited behind ribs as you may see on the left coyote.
