What a morning. Finally after 2 years got my first Coyote. 260 or so yards give or take. It was to my right and moving away and slightly to the left. Only clean kill shot was at head. It was trotting not in a hurry so I lead it a little and what I figured I'd need for elevation at that range. Just missed. She stopped turned her head left and I put one thru her left ear. She dropped stone dead not even a twitch.

I am in the process of getting a new 22-250 up and running just for coyotes...I just love to hunt them. This is my first season of really getting into it..

Geeze I thought that was in there.
RR A4 20" varmint .223 55PSP.
I really have not worked with this load. Had planned to run over chrono first nice day. It was the mag on top of the box and I was hustling as fast as possible to get the shot.
Everything I've loaded and bought so far has shot within .5 elevation @ 100. I knew I needed distance so grabbed 55 instead of the 45HP.
I bought a 22-250 700 varmint last year with Coyotes specifically in mind. I'm not sure I would have been ready for the 2nd follow up shot that the AR allowed me.
