Bead blast question?

DS, I get glass beads in a 25# plastic bucket. I don't remember seeing a sieve size, but the beads are about the size of fine ball powder. They are not aggressive on stainless, and give a very pleasing burnished satin finish. It's close to the Rem finish to my eye. If you use them in a blasting cabinet, they break up and powder quickly. The effect is to refine the finish the longer you use them. They are more aggressive on aluminum, but still make a nice low satin finish if you don't crowd the work.

Try them on a clean old piece of barrel, or under a receiver to see if it suits you.

Good shooting, Tom
