Then there's that "how bad do you want it" thang. Bad enough to pay the "extra" shipping charge? Like @spencerhenry said, "find what you want and go directly to the seller".
OR, plan on a road trip.
And if GunBroker doesn't care about you, why should you care about them. Sounds like they're #1 on the list of Screwers!!

I'm just one I guess, but I'd like to see "Gunbroker" go strictly private citizen and NO DEALERS. Too many games by dealers, some of whom are just hustlers.

It appears to me that Gunbroker is getting a big enough that they just don't care about service/cost complaints anymore.

Yeay, I recently bought an 8 lb jug of unobtanium powder at a realistic price. My card got charged twice. I emailed the seller, got no responce. Called the seller who seemed surprised that I had his number, though it was on the AMEX charge. He said it was GB's issue to resolve. Filed a complain with GB, took 2+ weeks to get a "the cc company will figure out its a double charge" response. Filed a claim with AMEX (which is why I used the card in the first place) and they got tired of waiting for a response from the seller and credited my account for the 2nd charge.
