Be Careful of Seller Named "Bos Garage".

He has come up with several of the items I'm interested in buying but will not take a picture that I've asked for. I can not find any seller/buyer history and I think he is a Paypal fraudulent seller. Be careful in dealing with him.

The safe way to deal with a questionable seller is to use paypal. They will refund your money if you don't receive your item.

Paypal will not return your money if you use "friends or family". I found that out the hard way.

There is no Forum member with user name Bos Garage, or BosGarage or Boss Garage or BossGarage.

OK here's the story. The OP had a WTB advert in our Classifieds.

The OP listed his personal email address in his WTB Ad. BAD Move.

Do NOT put your email in an advert.

I personally vet ALL Forum signups. I spend 300 hours per year doing this. If you put your email address in your listing, any scammer on the planet can communicate with you. Don't do it!!

Repeat: Do NOT list your email in a Classified ad.

Forum members, and only Forum members, can post a reply or communicate via Forum-controlled PM. FYI, the OP was smart to ask for a photo. If the "seller" can't provide a photo RUN AWAY!

Regarding PayPal -- Remember you may NEVER EVER use PayPal to buy and sell firearms, actions, barreled actions. Personally, I wouldn't even use it to sell gunstocks because PayPal has a total no guns policy and they will err on the side of being over-inclusive so you will have NO PROTECTION.
