Not until after candy and clear coat.
You will be creating texture when doing marble, the mor layers the more texture.
When I clear I get generous with my coats, it gives me something to work with when I block it down for flow coat.
I'll spray 4-5 coats on my flow coat,as this is what I wet sand and polish.

Spray the wrap and lay it up there, just rub it down air pockets will remain black and where it's in contact will be silver
This is why you need some small patches to fill voids.

I got my paint from Brett today, got some lightweight filler from work (Dynalite) to help fill pores and smooth things out. I just need to get the rifle home so I can bed it and finish modding the stock before fill/prime.

Yes we have done about 8 designs on plastic boxes. My wife is going to help me paint, she's a artist. [she's a poet] ;} Marble tomorrow I hope. The black base coat looks great

When I put the first marble on it quickly lifted the black, the silver turned out dark gray.. I did it again and added the joker to cover it up. I LIKE IT lol

I still don't have my rifle home yet, it's been 13 days and is still "pending" per DOJ. I'm told DOJ has been averaging 17 days (Thanks California). Once I get it home I can bed it and finally get the stock ready for paint and begin my stock painting project as well.

It’s a jghoghunter long range design. 6” at front-2” at the rear, 44” long range, light weight stable platform. I managed to get this flat top to 3.2lb.
Jesse can give ya more options on it. I believe his club has some of these stocks on their rifles that make the 10.5lb class.
They are I’m pressive!!!
