BC for Norma 130 gr. 6.5mm

Anyone know the BC for Norma 6.5mm 130Gr. Golden target bullets?

Norma's website has a Java-driven ballistic calculator that includes data for their various bullets. Look on the top right of their website for the button 'BALLISTIC'.

I've shot their Black Diamond 6.5mm 130 grain target bullet before in 6.5-284 & 6.5 Grendel & used their published BC of .548 with decent results.

It's strictly a guess on my part that their Golden target bullet of the same weight and diameter would have the same BC.

I have heard that they fly at closer to .590 but that is just what it is I heard. I have shot a few @ 1,000 yards. With the same powder charge in the same rifle within 10 minutes the 130 Norma's printed 2 MOA higher & 1 MOA left of what 142 SMK's printed. I know that's not much to go on but I will have good data shortly. I just bought 500 of them to try in a 6.5 WSM. I'll update when I have new info.

I have shot a few and I would say that they are close to a Berger or JLK 130 in terms of BC.

Berger revised the BC of their 130 down to .552 just last month, and they print pretty close at 1k for me.

I have 600 of them I would make someone a good deal on, just IM or email if you're interested - they are now sold.

Shot some of them today. They did not group as tight as the berger 130 but they were holding about 1/2 moa at 300 yds. They also chrono about 30 fps faster then the bergers with the same charge. May need a little tuning to tighten them up.

Perry Systems ExBal lists the 6.5mm 130gr Diamond Line at .548 BC. Sounds like Walker has it about right.

I have it on good authority that with a velocity of 2970 fps, the Norma 130's had a HI BC of .563 a Low BC of .552 with an avg. BC of .556
