BBL What to do??

I received my Rem 700 ( .243) BBL back from Silencer Central Today and I have issues with the suppressor I'm using, AAC 762 SDN-6 suppressor uses a flash hider AAC 51T Blackout Flash Hider. The issue is my Rem factory bbl is .82 in diameter and the flash hider / adapter only engages 2.75 threads.. and butts up against the shoulder of the bbl. I called Silencer Central and they said ship it back and they would make it right..
My factory bbl is 25.5" in length and with a suppressor it's like a fishing pole.. This rifle is really accurate....
Silencer Central said they could cut the bbl for me.
The question is should I cut the length down to a more suitable length? I'm only hunt deer at a max range of 173 yds.. May use it for coyotes too.. Most shots on deer are 100 yds...
Will this screw up my accuracy? If I decide to cut the bbl what length 22"?
What should I do?

I did a 6xc at 20 for a can to shoot 200 yard practice this winter. Works fine.

I bet you wouldn’t loose enough velocity to change your impact at those ranges by 1”.
Probably could change the load and get the velocity back if needed.

I shoot .260 Rem with a suppressed 20" with very good accuracy. Obviously, you are looking at a loss in velocity but like the above mentioned, at those ranges, no big deal. I would sacrifice some velocity to gain the convenience of the more manageable length. Good luck!

Cut it to 20" or even 16" and you will love it, seriously. It will still kill anything you want it to at 200 yards. Then work up a load with a faster powder. If you don't like it you can rebarrel it with a Remage custom. I can send you a Go gauge

I got the bbl boxed up and shipping back to Silencer Central. Going to have the bbl cut to 20" in length..

I will provide full details on what happened today in a phone conversation with their customer service. Not happy at all.
