This was one of those that you remember! Started out in the high 30’s and blowing 15-20 with gusts over 30 and didn’t get any better. The target faces we’re getting blown off the frames until Woody saved the day and had a team screw them on! We had some issues with the shotmarkers but we wouldn’t have been able to have the match if we pulled. Next time our North Dakota visitors can leave the cold back up North.

Looks like it was fun. Five years ago, I shot a New Years Day match at west Texas. (Stanton) It required 7.5 minutes windage with a 284, and 10 minutes for the FTR shooters.

That picture actually made me laugh out loud; I hadn't seen the scores. When a 572 wins it in F-Open, with that group, you know it was "sporty".
