Bausch&Lomb Elite series 4200

I can't see anywhere on this scope about the click increment. Is it 1/2 or 1/4 moa? It seems like 1/4 on paper but I just want to be sure. Thank you in advance.

Is that 1/4 inch or 1/4 moa ?Although the difference is minute at close range,it grows as the distance gets greater. Want to be sure, thanks

Lapuatom,
For what it is worth,,exactly what you paid for it):) That would be 4.7" at 1000 yards. If you can hold that, I sure don't want to mess with you! BTW, I think B&L measures in inches.

B&L got out of the scope business several years ago; they did not want to be connected to firearms. Bushnell bought them out. I have a Bushnell 6-24 4200 and it has .125,1/8 min) clicks. Count the number of hash marks between the minutes on the turrets.

gunamonth is correct. I didn't move the decimal point, my error. Having said that, Lapuatom is correct that it is a small amount.

My B&L Elite 4000 6x24 has 1/8" adjustments, the 4200 is the Bushnell and my little brothers is 1/8" also. Later,

I hope I'm not hijacking this thread but started my search and found a related topic. I too purchased a new 4200 6-24x40 from a local sporting good shop for my Remington VLS .243. The box and scope both say Bushnell model#42-6244M, but the price sticker says B&L Elite 4200.

My scope has a thumb screw instead of the 2 screws and adjustment bar zeroing your scope. It has 8 hash marks between digits on the turret so I'm assuming it is a 1/8" click?

I'm guessing it is a B&L older model? It has great glass - are the older models inferior to the newer model 4200 in anyway?

I would like to use the scope for long range paper punching and varmint hunting up to 600-800 yrds. Are the "semi-target" turrets going to work well for dialing in yardages? Is anyone using this scope for target shooting that can provide information on how they have calibrated their turrets for dialing yardages. Are there larger target available for this scope?

Sorry for all the questions but I'm finally getting to realize one of my dreams of getting to shoot long range with the right gear....,I hope):D:D:D.

I think it depends on which scope you're talking about. My 4000 series Elites and pre-elites go to 24 and 32X. They're target scopes and have 1/8" clicks. You don't need that on a hunting rifle and the lower powered scopes would probably have 1/4" clicks.
