SOLD Bausch & Lomb 36x BR Scope

Selling my 36x Bausch & Lomb. This is a 1" tube, 40mm OBJ with a fine crosshair and leather scope caps. Very nice condition with excellent glass, very minor ring marks are hard to see, very faint, and hard to see but mentioning with close inspection they can be seen. $500.00 shipped and will throw in a set if Tiffen extenders to boost magnification if one likes.

I have a set of polished and lapped Kelbly rings, one single screw ring and one double screw ring make the set, $100.00 with purchase of the scope if interested. not selling separate only offered to the buyer at time of buying the scope. This scope has only been used on the bench.

I agree, as did Fred Sinclair, this came off a BR rifle I built in memory of Fred, my mentor. Setup on a Panda in the caliber that put Fred in the BR hall of fame, a 222, Panda, on a McMillan Stock. Even used a Shilen barrel, what he retired using. He loved the 6x47 also but told me there were days it just didn't shoot, the 222 was more predictable, but there were days that 6x47 just was untouchable, but they always were guided with the B&L 36x. Using the 2x Tiffen extender on the back eyepiece puts it up there with the 42 to 45x scopes for magnification today, with very little affect on losing clarity.

This is a very nice scope, excellent for rimfire benchrest as well as centerfire.
