SOLD Bausch & Lomb 6-24 Balvar

I have a very nice Bausch & Lomb 6-24 Balvar for sale. Scope is in excellent condition with a few small specs in tube from mounting. Comes with original box, cloth sack marked Bausch and Lomb, 5" sunshade, booklet and warranty card. Scope has a fine to medium duplex reticle and parallex adjusts down to 40 yards. Great vintage scope with all the original accsessories as came with it new. $500 shipped. PM with any questions.

These came out (iirc) when it was just Leupold in the BR business. B&L was the equal for clarity and repeatability for several years. They really pushed Leupold hard.

I have 2 of the target dot versions with target turrets, 6 - 24x, and they are excellent scopes. I'd be all over this if I needed another.

Gloss finish to match your classic rifle but also has matte power ring, parallex adj ring and sunshade that will equally match up with a matte finish rifle. Beautiful scope with very clear glass made by LOW in Japan. (makers of Nightforce) Short finger adjustable target turrets and parallex adjusts from 40yds to infinity. Amen to that~!! My 6-24 Balvar is the clearest scope I've ever experienced. Now all I need is a replacement for my SAKO Vixen Hunter in 6mm PPC. during a serious attack of "stupidity" I sold the Vixen to buy a SAKO "target/varmint" version which was a disappointment from the moment I picked it up. Heavy, heavy, heavy~!

I didn't realize that they were ever sold with the target dot. I have one for sale right now that came with a SAKO Vixen so it has the SAKO rings and mounts. The guy who bought the rifle said he didn't want the scope so I kept it with the rings and mounts.
Got stupid and when 6mm PPC-USA ammo disappeared I sold the rifle.
