Bausch and Lomb "Balfor" non-adjustable scope -- Need Adjustable Mounts

I thought this might get more views here than in the sales area.

Title tells the basics. I got this nice old 4x scope at our local gun show -- just because. It has a 1" tube, straight except for the attached eye-piece. No adjusting turrets.

I'm wondering if anyone has one, and could tell me (or direct me) to the proper adjustable mounts that might be used with this scope. I'm guessing that it is probably sixties vintage, and I've got a few rifles that would look pretty cool with this sight attached.

Optics are very good on this scope, nice fine cross hair, and it's just too interesting to not be used. jd

I have B&L Kuharsky mount for this scope. What rifle are you mounting it on?

The prime candidate for this glass would be a sporterized, Enfield, #4, MK1. After that would be Remington 511 type 22's. Also have a BSA Sportsman 5 22, but that one looks a little tougher. jd

Yeah, I've been plunking around some. I'm still at the bottom of the learning curve with this one. (don't know what I don't know).

A lot of the stuff I see is over-kill for what I want, and some of it just doesn't appeal. It may not be possible to do without a lot of luck, or a lot of money. Probably one of those things that will sit on the back burner for --- who knows how long. jd
