Battery Help

Guys,

I have been out of town and left the batteries for my LightForce spotlight in a truck with the windows rolled up. They got hot as heck. Do you thing that I did any damage to them???

I an going to go hunting at night over the Fourth of July and do not want to have battery problems!!!

Side note to this post, don't leave rechargeable Everready,or probably other brands as well) batteries in a car or truck in your Mag Light, mine leaked and corroded themselves tight inside the barrel. I always use throw aways for long term storage now and have lost no more flashlights.

I threw away all my rechargeable batteries. I was trying to use the AA size for my digital camera and with a full charge they only would take about a dozen pictures before they went dead. I can get two to three hundred pictures out of the cheap 4 for a dollar Panasonic heavy duty AA's.

Chuck,

You mean you don't use a Zippo butane lighter like we do on the left coast to spot game? :p

Come to think of it we have had a lot of fires here lately....
