Bat Machine VR's vs other Bats

I have a serious itch for a Bat Machine action.
There is a smoking deal available on a VR.
Are the Remington footprint Bat's as good as the Bats of their own footprints?
If I got a VR, will I wonder if I should have got a Bat?

They are exactly the same other than another .001-.0015 of bolt clearance. The choice will come down to what you want to do with it, is the configuration what you want and will it fit the stock you want.
