Bat Machine Co rear entry action wrench opinion

Anybody have an opinion on the Bat Machine Co 2 lug rear entry action wrench?

I was gonna call and see if it will function on a Remington 700 action Friday but they are closed on Friday.

A BAT wrench fits BAT. They may make one that fits other actions.

I can attest the bat wrench does not fit stolle/remington. I tried it about 30mins ago

Is the flat bladed one in this picture the one you tried?

That flat one from BAT fits all my Remingtons, no problem.....

I have a BAT rear entry wrench for my 2 lug BAT B and it will NOT fit any Remington. Now my Davidson wrench for my Panda will work on some of my Remingtons. The only Remington it won't work on is the one that has a groove running down the raceway.

Thats the one. The other is for 3l. It does not fit remingtons nor will a proper bat bore guide fit a remington

My BAT two lug wrench measures .716" shaft, not going in a Remington. Mine is an early wrench, pre bayonet firing pin action, and maybe they make them different now.

Thanks for the help guys. I picked up a Bench Source wrench today at a fair price. I hope it will be fine, it will only see light use, not for breaking loose factory barrels.

never had a problem with rear entry wrenches. if anything, I'm hesitant of port entry wrenches.

on another note...how many of you simply "snap" the action onto the barrel and how many of you actually torque it to a spec?

Just give it a good push not a snap. That way itll headspace like your gunsmith set it up to.
