Can a BAT M .308 bolt face be opened up?

Called BAT and left a VM. I've heard they're not the most responsive, so I thought I'd ask here.

Its according to which extractor you have

Bruce Thom is literally standing 3 feet in front of me right now. He says do not open up a .308 bolt face to magnum as the extractor isn't in the correct location. Neither the M-16 style or the sliding plate is compatible.

He says they try to have bolts in stock, but he said they do sell fast. Steve, the customer service and shipping guy has stage 4 cancer and is returning phone calls, so leave a message.

The ejectors are in different spots not because of the bolt face. I dont like ejectors to protrude more than the closing cam depth in the action. Moving the ejector closer to the extractor fixes that. So the new style has the 6 o clock possition

No, theres a few reasons. The bolt face depth will be too shallow for an extractor. Not to mention the depth of the sako would be too deep and the plunger of a sliding plate to far inward.
