Bat Bolt Firing Pin Assembly-How to remove

I was messing with my Bat SV 2 lug bolt today and the firing pin assembly(if that is what it is called) rotated so that the bolt will not slide into the carrier.....I believe the pin was released by the twising....is there any way to fix this without one of those firing pin removers?

Purchase the firing pin remover from B.A.T. Machine. They're about $50 but worth every penny. You'll use it often. $50 for use with a $1100 to $1300 action is a bargain. I have two of the 7.5 x 1370" Round actions.

You need to push up on the cocking piece while turning it back to the cocked position. A rag helps get a better grip and it will take some force. It happens. After you get it into the cocked position, you can push in and rotate it the other way and remove the whole assembly.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, I intend on getting one, just wanting to resolve this now if possible. I believe a few responses have it figured out.....thanks

Joe,
All Bats are not like that. Some work just like a Remington.

Well, I now have the firing pin assembly removed....lol....not sure how to get it back in though. As long as I'm not breaking anything, guess I am figuring out how this thing works. Now, how to get the firing pin back in the bolt...Hmmmm

I'm not sure what style it is, but I got it back in with a little experimentation.....I got it back to the position where the pin was extended through the bolt face, then managed to rotate it back into position, cocks and fires now. Thanks for the help.
