Bat B

First range trip

two quick coats of brite tone with a brush , no sanding…should have got somebody to spray it….

6 creed 35 degree shoulder…..alpha brass is nice..(I already have 6creed, so should be easy/same development)

Will apply a lot more brite tone and sand a lot to see if I can get it decent for up close pictures

Likes 2850 with the 190’s for 7 mm bbl

my old 7/300 really like RL 25 and now I am using N165 and it is very similar

ended up with three 7mm bbl and two 6mm bbl for this action

Best i could do, highly suggest not to use a brush or sponge for clear coat, very dumb of me
Actually, the first coat or two of auto clear fills the wood pores better if brushed than sprayed! Yes, you'll have some sanding work but pores just get deeper when sprayed vs filled when brushed. The end result is what matters. It doesn't matter what it looks like when it's half finished. You're supposed to be the only one that knows. ;) Looks like it turned out pretty good, in the end. That's what everyone cares about. More sandpaper, elbow grease and clear...and you can fix a lot of stuff!
